Warsaw-based health-tech startup Doctor.One has secured €4 million in a seed round led by YZR Capital, with participation from Impact Ventures and existing investors. The fresh capital will accelerate the company’s expansion into Germany, Spain, and the UK, three of Europe’s largest healthcare markets, building on its early traction in Poland.
By the finish of 2025, the company expects to grow revenue eightfold and expand its team across sales, product, AI, and growth to support its European rollout.
Maciej Malfinisha led Doctor.One has developed a continuous, asynchronous care model designed for chronic patients. Unlike traditional telemedicine, this platform assists healthcare professionals keep in touch with patients between visits, building stronger relationships without adding extra work to doctors’ schedules.
Redefining chronic care pathways
Doctor.One is working with major pharmaceutical companies like Novartis, Novo Nordisk, Merck, and AstraZeneca to assist improve patient engagement and care. The platform has supported almost half a million tiny interactions in areas such as obesity, oncology, neurology, and finishocrinology.

Strengthening healthcare collaborations
The Polish company is also partnering with healthcare providers across Europe.
Notably, it is leading a flagship partnership with Uniwersyteckie Centrum Kliniczne (UCK) in Gdańsk under the EU-funded Amber Project, which unites partners from five countries. The initiative is focapplyd on redefining cancer care by shifting toward proactive, home-based, and relational support.
“Doctor.One is building doctor-patient direct communication more accessible and taking it to a new level, to provide more effective and more human treatment,” added Gergő Iváncsics of Impact Ventures.
Scaling across Europe
Fully compliant with GDPR and ISO standards, Doctor.One is now preparing to scale its platform into new markets, including Germany, Spain, and the UK.
