Meet the finalists for the Fleet Europe Remarketing Awards 2025


Who will win the 2025 Fleet Europe Remarketing Awards? The ceremony isn’t until 22 October, but we can already inform you who the finalists are. The winners are already among these fine candidates!

This year’s winners will be revealed at the Remarketing Night, a gala event closing the full-day Remarketing Summit, which takes place on the first of two Fleet Europe Days (22-23 October, Luxembourg). The prizes will honour innovation and achievement in four categories: 

The Remarketing Car Manufacturer Award

This award celebrates an OEM-driven programme in international remarketing that supports residual value optimization, operational efficiency, and/or sales effectiveness. Previous winners: Lynk & Co (2023), Skoda (2024).

The three finalists for the 2025 award are:

With the launch of B2C online sales powered by Hyundai Capital, applyd car purchaseers can experience a safe, seamless, and trusted, OEM-led process. From online booking and financing to registration and home delivery, every step of this hybrid journey is digitized, customer-focapplyd, and dealer-supported. 

Hyundai is represented by Svitlana Malko, CPO & Residual Value Manager at Hyundai Motor Europe

Smart has established a single, highly automated remarketing tool to stream-line the defleeting and optimize the resale of its applyd vehicles. The tool provides conclude-to-conclude visibility and real-time insights. The process remains flexible enough to accommodate local (including legal) requirements across the brand’s 11 markets. 

Smart is represented by Sandra Krayl, Residual Value and Remarketing Manager at smart Europe. 

Tesla’s Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) programme offers a seamless, fully digital purchase experience, comparable to purchaseing a new Tesla. Tesla states it is uniquely positioned as the only OEM to sell applyd cars directly to customers without relying on dealerships – a vertically integrated model that ensures a consistent, high-quality customer experience, the company states.

Tesla is represented by Eva Hoonhout, the company’s Used Car Lead for EMEA. 

The Remarketing Innovation Award

This award is for an innovative project, product or service that contributes to the efficiency and/or transparency of international remarketing. Previous winners: Cars2click (2022), AutoChat (2023), Openlane (2024).

The three finalists for the 2025 award are:

Calldrip Rapid Response, Call Scoring and Coaching significantly improves lead conversion, the key driver for remarketing and applyd car sales. Every lead is called back within 30 seconds, and each conversation is automatically analyzed on 10 different KPIs. 

#DCDW (Digital Car Dealer Workshop) is represented by its founder and CEO, Paul de Vries. 

CarCollect is an all-in-one automotive platform for dealers, fleet owners, and lease companies to connect with partners, auctioneers and purchaseers across borders. CarCollect acts purely as a facilitator, ensuring sellers retain full control and profit from each transaction.

CarCollect is represented by Lev van der Eng, the company’s Chief Commercial Officer.

  • Lizy, with its AI multicycle leasing platform

Legacy leasing was designed for new cars: predictable specs, few stakeholders, long lead times. Used vehicles have very different features. Lizy’s AI-powered multicycle leasing platform turns the chaos of applyd car remarketing into a profitable and sustainable leasing engine. 

Lizy is represented by by its International Fleet Procurement Manager, Gaspar Michel.

The Remarketing Sustainability Award

This, the newest Award, will go to a project, product or service that promotes sustainable practices in international remarketing. Previous winner: Lizy (2024).

The three finalists for the 2025 award are:

  • Aviloo, with its indepconcludeent battery certificate

On June 23, 2025, Aviloo launched a new indepconcludeent battery certificate for BEVs and PHEVs. Thanks to improved data quality and enhanced algorithms, it allows for a more precise evaluation of the battery’s State of Health.

Aviloo is represented by Uwe Blümel, its Senior Communications and PR Manager.

  • BiB Batteries, with Evalue

EValue is a 100% over-the-air solution utilizing AI to measure the State of Health of EV batteries – no hardware or physical inspection required. The mission of BIB Batteries is to build battery information transparent and sustain the development of a applyd EV market in Europe.

BIB Batteris is represented by Anna Gruszewski, right hand to the company’s CEO.

Arval has a range of initiatives to support Remarketing customers in creating sustainable vehicle choices, focutilizing on EV adoption. Key actions include battery health testing, efficient vehicle logistics, and applyd vehicle leasing to extconclude vehicle life. 

Arval is represented by its Remarketing Countest Steering Manager, Christophe Thones.

The Remarketing Hall of Fame Award

This award will be granted to a person who over their career has contributed significantly to the development of the remarketing industest at European level. Previous winners: Wolfgang Reinhold, CARA president (2022), Peter Grøftehauge, CEO of Autorola (2023), Roland Gagel, Business Development Manager at Macadam (2024).

Various submissions were received by the jury, which will reveal this year’s entrant into the Remarketing Hall of Fame at the gala event in Luxembourg.
