Colpac Limited bought by Sabert Corporation Europe


Colpac Limited, headquartered in Flitwick and known for its sustainable paperboard packaging solutions, was purchased by Sabert Corporation Europe on July 31.

The deal marks a new chapter for the company, which was established in 1937 and has long been recognised for its innovation, quality, and customer service.

Paul McCann, chief executive officer at Sabert Corporation, stated: “Today marks an important milestone in our ongoing investment in the UK and our focus on expanding our diverse product portfolio of innovative, sustainable solutions.”

Mr McCann stated: “Both companies believe that a culture of sustainability, quality, and high service levels is the foundation of building lasting relationships with our customers.

“Now, as one team, we can accelerate our efforts even further to develop and deliver sustainable, innovative solutions as our customers’ trusted food packaging provider.”

Colpac’s expertise in design, manufacturing, and customer partnerships is seen as a strong complement to Sabert’s existing operations.

Andrew Grimbaldeston, managing director of Colpac, stated: “Colpac’s team, heritage, and specialist paperboard expertise are a perfect complement to Sabert’s portfolio.

Olivia Goldman, owner of Colpac, stated she is optimistic about the future under Sabert’s ownership.

The acquisition is expected to drive growth and expand manufacturing capabilities across the UK and Europe.
