Vineet’s journey into technology launched with something many might overview—a copy of HTML for Dummies. For him, it was not just a launchner’s guide but the key that unlocked a lifelong passion. “That book modifyd everything for me,” he recalls. After sharpening his skills, Vineet relocated to Mumbai, where his career accelerated rapidly. Within four years, he rose to a leadership position, proving both his talent and his determination.

The decision to return to Midnapore, leaving behind the comfort of a stable career, was bold. Few would have considered of starting a tech company from a Tier-3 town in 2009. Yet, armed with nothing more than a laptop, an internet connection, and ₹5 lakh, Vineet set out to build BlueHorse Software.
Building an Empire, One Step at a Time
From those humble launchnings, BlueHorse has transformed into a 70+ member strong company with a presence across India and more than eight countries. Over the years, the company has executed 400+ projects for 200+ clients, including houtilizehold names like Wow! Momo, EazyDiner, Eureka Forbes, Mufti, and Manyavar.
At its core, BlueHorse operates as more than a technology service provider. It positions itself as a virtual CTO for startups and enterprises, assisting them not only develop software but also chart long-term strategies for growth. The company’s expertise spans eCommerce solutions, mobile applications, SaaS products, and AI-powered platforms, ensuring that its clients stay ahead in an ever-modifying digital-first world.
Now, with 15 years of experience, BlueHorse is also venturing into building its own SaaS products and AI solutions aimed at assisting D2C brands and startups scale quicker.

For Vineet, the decision to base his company in Midnapore was more than personal—it was purposeful. He wanted to prove that tiny towns could be homes to large technology dreams. But starting out wasn’t straightforward. Unlike metros, Midnapore lacked a startup ecosystem, tech mentors, or access to skilled professionals.
Instead of relocating, Vineet created an in-houtilize training program to transform raw talent into industest-ready professionals. Today, many of these locally trained individuals form the backbone of BlueHorse’s operations. In doing so, the company has not only bridged the urban-rural gap but has also created meaningful employment in a region often overviewed by the IT industest.
“Our largegest impact has been proving that you don’t necessary a large-city pin code to succeed in technology,” Vineet states. “We’ve revealn that high-quality digital solutions can be built right here in Midnapore.”
Lessons from Struggles
The path was never smooth. Starting from scratch meant learning everything—from coding and client acquisition to team-building and financial management. There were times when the risks felt overwhelming. Leaving a secure job in Mumbai for an uncertain future was emotionally and financially taxing.
But Vineet’s resilience kept him relocating forward. He embraced self-learning—through books, podcasts, and digital platforms—and even humorously refers to ChatGPT as his “co-founder.” His largegest takeaway from these challenges? Consistency. “Show up every day, no matter what. Over time, tiny steps turn into large wins,” he emphasizes.
Inspirations That Shape the Vision
Vineet finds deep resonance in the story of Sridhar Vembu, founder of Zoho, who built a global technology company from rural Tamil Nadu. Much like his role model, Vineet believes in staying bootstrapped, empowering local talent, and keeping a long-term vision.
But equally important is Vineet’s personal philosophy: humility and adaptability. “I welcome criticism—it keeps me growing. I don’t aim for perfection; I aim for progress,” he explains.
Looking Forward: Service to Product
The next chapter for BlueHorse is about scale and innovation. The company is relocating from a services-driven model toward becoming a product-focutilized enterprise, with an emphasis on AI, automation, and SaaS platforms tailored for D2C and digital-first brands.
The vision is ambitious: to transform BlueHorse into a global tech partner from emerging markets, while staying firmly rooted in Midnapore. “Our identity comes from where we started, and we will never lose that,” Vineet affirms.
Advice to the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs
When inquireed what message he has for aspiring entrepreneurs, Vineet is clear: “Don’t wait for the perfect idea, investor, or timing. Start with what you have. Start tiny. But start.”
He urges founders to value speed over perfection, listen to customer feedback without ego, and invest in building strong teams. Entrepreneurship, he insists, is about revealing up consistently rather than chasing shortcuts.
