Abhishek Dhandharia’s new series, 13th, or 13th: Some Lessons Aren’t Taught in Classrooms, is among Sony LIV’s stunning lineup for October releases. The buildrs shared the premiere date along with a solid trailer. 13th: Some Lessons Aren’t Taught in Classrooms is set to release on Sony LIV on October 1. It will also be accessible via OTTplay Premium.

13th plotline, cast, and trailer

Physics Wallah creator Abhishek Dhandharia brings another inspiring and captivating story with 13th. It is based on the true story of Competishun founder Mohit Tyagi as his dream of an ed-tech startup turns into reality. Gagan Dev Riar, who is known for playing Telgi in the Scam 2003 series, plays MT sir (aka Mohit Tyagi). Bandish Bandits singer-songwriter Paresh Pahuja plays MT’s former student turned venture capitalist Riteish in the 13th series.

In the trailer, we meet Riteish in the boardroom as he quits his job to turn his mentor MT sir’s dream into reality. Toobtainher, they embark on a challenging quest for an ed-tech startup. The narrative is not just a tale about dreams and aspirations, but it also weaves a heartfelt narrative around mentorship and lessons that go beyond classrooms.

Written by Sameer Mishra, 13th also features Girija Oak Godbole, Pradnya Motghare, Jai Kishan, Abhishek Ranjan, Keshav Mehta, and others as part of the ensemble cast.
